General Sessions

General session registration includes admission to the general sessions from Sunday, June 9 – Wednesday, June 12, 2019, Industry Supported Events and the Exhibit Hall. Additional fees are required for attending ticketed sessions.

Ticketed Sessions

You must register for the SLEEP 2019 general sessions to register for any ticketed sessions. Ticketed sessions include Postgraduate Courses (June 8-9), Meet the Professor sessions (June 10-12) and Lunch Debates (June 10-12).

Ticketed Session Add-Ons

Registered attendees can add a ticketed session at any time provided the session is not sold out. Anyone registering on-site can add ticketed sessions at the time of registration.

Notification of cancellation must be submitted in writing to the APSS national office. A $50 administrative fee will be withheld on cancellations postmarked on or before May 17, 2019. No refunds are possible after this date. If you are registered for the meeting and do not attend, you will not be provided a refund.

Postgraduate Courses, Meet the Professors, Lunch Debates, and Hands-On Sessions (limited to Technologist registrants) require tickets for admission and have limited seating. Sold out ticketed sessions will not be listed during the online registration process. The APSS does not offer a waiting list for those sessions that are SOLD OUT.

The APSS, its contractors and attending news media may be photographing and/or videotaping scientific sessions and events at the Annual Meeting. By attending SLEEP 2019, attendees acknowledge these activities and agree to allow their image to be used by the APSS in association publications, on the SLEEP meeting website and in marketing and promotional materials. Attendees at SLEEP 2019 waive all claims against the APSS for any liability resulting from these uses.

Video and/or audio recording of presentations is prohibited unless express permission is given by the presenter. When permitted, photography is only allowed for personal, social, or non-commercial use. Attendees may not use flash photography or otherwise distract the presenters and/or attendees. Photography is not permitted in the poster or exhibit hall. Violation may result in removal from SLEEP and confiscation of the film or recording device.

Only children 12 or older are permitted in the exhibit hall and poster sessions. All children are allowed in session rooms. Minors must have adult supervision at all times. No strollers will be permitted in the exhibit hall, poster sessions or session rooms. Anyone being disruptive or noisy may be asked to step out of sessions, exhibit hall or poster sessions.
