Media representatives must register with the APSS public relations office before receiving press registration for the virtual meeting. Members of the news media are defined as a reporter, writer, editor, photographer, producer or other approved title for an outlet that falls in one of these categories: newspaper, magazine, radio station, television station or network, news syndicate service, or online publication. Freelance writers seeking meeting credentials must submit a letter of assignment or letter of intent from the outlet being represented. Representatives of podcasts or online media outlets are permitted on a case-by-case basis. However, the APSS does not furnish press credentials to individuals representing industry websites, for-profit companies, newsletters, discussion forums or group email lists.

About the SLEEP Meeting
Virtual SLEEP 2020, the 34th annual meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies LLC (APSS), is Aug. 27-30, 2020 in a new and exciting online-only format. The meeting has live-streamed content as well as on-demand recorded sessions to view even after the conference ends. The APSS is a joint venture of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Sleep Research Society.
The first SLEEP meeting was held in Columbus, Ohio from June 15-21, 1986. Since its inception over 33 years ago, SLEEP has been attended by nearly 100,000 sleep medicine professionals and has become the world’s premier forum on sleep medicine. Each year, the APSS is proud to bring together such a diverse and dedicated group of attendees, speakers, and exhibitors to contribute to the advancement of sleep medicine.
