SLEEP 2013 – APSS Annual Meeting, Baltimore

About Baltimore

Founded in 1729, Baltimore is the largest city in the state of Maryland and the 24th largest city in the United States. Baltimore played a key part in the American Revolution, but its the War of 1812 that put the city in the spotlight. Francis Scott Key was inspired to write the Star-Spangled Banner after witnessing United States forces successful defend the city's harbor from the British during the Battle of Baltimore. Two centuries later, Baltimore is home to dozens of world class restaurants, shopping, museums and historical sites. While you are in town for SLEEP 2013, we encourage you to visit the many attractions that Baltimore has to offer.
